St. Dominic Village is a non-profit corporation established by the Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Our facility provides services to over 600 residents a year.

St. Dominic Village is a member of the Texas Medical Center. We are located on a beautiful campus conveniently located off of Holcombe Blvd near Interstate 288. We are located near the Metro bus line and provide free, on-campus parking to all employees.

Certified Medication Aide
  • St. Dominic Village is currently looking for CMA (Certified Medication Aide) for full-time/weekends or PRN to ensure residents receive the appropriate medications (as ordered) at the appropriate times and within the scope of responsibilities of the medication aide as defined by the State of Texas. Clearly documents administered and refused medications.

    Position Qualifications:
    • This individual will possess the following:
    • Certified by the State of Texas (approved training program) in medication administration.
    • Must have knowledge of restrictions regarding job duties and be willing to abide by those restrictions.
    • Experience helpful and preferred.
    • Must be able to accurately administer medications.
    • Must willingly demonstrate the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
    • Must demonstrate initiative – be a self starter with job duties assigned.
    • Must have working knowledge of computers.

RN Supervisor - All Shifts
  • As in-house supervisor/manager responsible for supervising all nursing staff as well as ancillary staff as needed. Responsible for administrative decision making process for facility on week-ends. Liaison between staff, families, residents and physicians.

    Education/Experience:
    • Be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (RN).
    • Maintain current licensure in the State of Texas with 3-5 years’ experience and have basic knowledge of staffing patterns.
    • Maintain current licensure in the State of Texas with 3-5 years’ experience and have basic knowledge of staffing patterns.
    • Must demonstrate competence in communication skills and have the ability to relate to diverse constituency and act independently to solve problems.
    • Must be available for an eight (8) hour shift as well as 24 hour call every week-end.
    • Must willingly demonstrate the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
    • Must demonstrate initiative – be a self-starter with job duties assigned.
    • Computer skills and knowledge of EMR.
  • $2,000 Sign on Bonus


Unit RN
  • The Unit RN is responsible for the daily nursing care of the residents on the Unit including administration of medications and treatments, receiving and transcribing physician orders, monitoring LVNs/CMAs/CNAs activity and care of the residents on a daily basis and communicating affectively to staff, residents, families, physicians and all members of the interdisciplinary team.

    Position Qualifications:
    • This individual will possess the following:
    • Be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing for registered nurses (RN) and possess a current license for the State of Texas.
    • Basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
    • Basic knowledge of drug administration via all approved and ordered routes, including IV and infection control techniques.
    • Basic knowledge of drug actions and adverse reactions.
    • Willingness and consciousness to provide quality customer service in keeping with facility standards of practice.
    • Willingness to comply with and uphold the facility’s vision, mission statement, standards of practice and policies and procedures.
    • Must willingly demonstrate the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
    • Must demonstrate initiative – be a self-starter with job duties assigned.
    • Must be certified in IV therapy.
    • Have a working knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and computer literate.
  • $2,000 Sign on Bonus


CNA
  • St. Dominic Village is currently seeking a Full-Time and/or PRN Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) in our nursing home and Assisted Living. CNAs Assist licensed nurses in providing care by performing the necessary nursing skills to ensure that residents'

    Education/Experience:
    • Certified by the State of Texas in a nurses aide training.
    • Experience in long term care a plus.
  • $500 Sign on Bonus
