St. Dominic Village is a non-profit corporation established by the Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Our facility provides services to over 600 residents a year.

St. Dominic Village is a member of the Texas Medical Center. We are located on a beautiful campus conveniently located off of Holcombe Blvd near Interstate 288. We are located near the Metro bus line and provide free, on-campus parking to all employees.

Director of Sales and Marketing
  • St. Dominic Village is looking for a Sales and Marketing Director to oversee our community which includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Long Term Care Nursing Center. The Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for overseeing internal and external coordinators in the facilities; as well as hosting and attending internal and external marketing events. The Director is responsible for developing relationships with physicians, case managers and community hospitals.

    Position Qualifications:
    • This individual will possess the following:
    • Highly motivated Sales and Marketing professional with at least five (5) years of experience in the Healthcare Field.
    • Four-year degree preferred or equivalent experience will be considered.
    • Relationships within the Houston healthcare industry would be helpful.
    • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with Marketing team.

Certified Medication Aide
  • St. Dominic Village is currently looking for CMA (Certified Medication Aide) for full-time/weekends or PRN to ensure residents receive the appropriate medications (as ordered) at the appropriate times and within the scope of responsibilities of the medication aide as defined by the State of Texas. Clearly documents administered and refused medications.

    Position Qualifications:
    • This individual will possess the following:
    • Certified by the State of Texas (approved training program) in medication administration.
    • Must have knowledge of restrictions regarding job duties and be willing to abide by those restrictions.
    • Experience helpful and preferred.
    • Must be able to accurately administer medications.
    • Must willingly demonstrate the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
    • Must demonstrate initiative – be a self starter with job duties assigned.
    • Must have working knowledge of computers.

RN Supervisor - All Shifts
  • As in-house supervisor/manager responsible for supervising all nursing staff as well as ancillary staff as needed. Responsible for administrative decision making process for facility on week-ends. Liaison between staff, families, residents and physicians.

    Education/Experience:
    • Be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (RN).
    • Maintain current licensure in the State of Texas with 3-5 years’ experience and have basic knowledge of staffing patterns.
    • Maintain current licensure in the State of Texas with 3-5 years’ experience and have basic knowledge of staffing patterns.
    • Must demonstrate competence in communication skills and have the ability to relate to diverse constituency and act independently to solve problems.
    • Must be available for an eight (8) hour shift as well as 24 hour call every week-end.
    • Must willingly demonstrate the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
    • Must demonstrate initiative – be a self-starter with job duties assigned.
    • Computer skills and knowledge of EMR.

LVN
  • St. Dominic Village is currently seeking a Full-Time and/or PRN LVN and this person is responsible for the daily nursing care of the residents on the unit including administration of medications and treatments, receiving and transcribing physician orders, monitoring CNA activity and care of the residents on a daily basis and communicating effectively to staff, residents, families, physicians and all members of the interdisciplinary team. We currently have openings for PT and PRN LVNs.

    Position Qualifications:
    • This individual will possess the following:
    • Be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing for LVNs and possess a current license for the State of Texas.
    • At least 6 months experience as a LVN in a long-term care setting.
  • $1,000 Sign on Bonus


Unit RN
  • The Unit RN is responsible for the daily nursing care of the residents on the Unit including administration of medications and treatments, receiving and transcribing physician orders, monitoring LVNs/CMAs/CNAs activity and care of the residents on a daily basis and communicating affectively to staff, residents, families, physicians and all members of the interdisciplinary team.

    Position Qualifications:
    • This individual will possess the following:
    • Be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing for registered nurses (RN) and possess a current license for the State of Texas.
    • Basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
    • Basic knowledge of drug administration via all approved and ordered routes, including IV and infection control techniques.
    • Basic knowledge of drug actions and adverse reactions.
    • Willingness and consciousness to provide quality customer service in keeping with facility standards of practice.
    • Willingness to comply with and uphold the facility’s vision, mission statement, standards of practice and policies and procedures.
    • Must willingly demonstrate the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
    • Must demonstrate initiative – be a self-starter with job duties assigned.
    • Must be certified in IV therapy.
    • Have a working knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and computer literate.

CNA
  • St. Dominic Village is currently seeking a Full-Time and/or PRN Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) in our nursing home and Assisted Living. CNAs Assist licensed nurses in providing care by performing the necessary nursing skills to ensure that residents'

    Education/Experience:
    • Certified by the State of Texas in a nurses aide training.
    • Experience in long term care a plus.
  • $500 Sign on Bonus


Maintenance Technician
  • To provide a daily survey of the buildings to ensure a safe and secure living environment for the residents, patients of the Village. Perform repairs and upkeep to physical plants and equipment used in the buildings of the Village. Certify that all equipment and furniture is kept to a standard that will exceed State of Texas standards. Maintain all repair records.

    Education/Experience:
    • Knowledge in plumbing, electrical or HVAC.
    • Ability to trouble shoot electrical problems, replace electrical motors.
    • Knowledge of pneumatic controls, carpentry, building repair, nurse call systems, plumbing and painting.
    • Good physical condition with the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
    • Knowledge of fire safety and codes for long term care facility.
    • Must willingly demonstrate the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
    • Must demonstrate initiative – be a self-starter with job duties assigned.

Medical Billing Specialist
  • St. Dominic Village is seeking a Billing Specialist for large scale Long Term Care Facility including Rehab/Nursing Center, Priest Residence Living, Assisted Living, and Independent Living. The Billing Specialist is responsible for billing and follow up of Medicaid, Managed Care, and Coinsurance for all levels of care within nursing home and billing Medicaid patients through TMHP program as well as billing Amerigroup, Molina and United Health. The Billing Specialist is also responsible for billing Hospice.

    Education/Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Working knowledge of computers.
    • Knowledge if data entry as well as a working knowledge of basic office machines.
    • Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality of information.
    • Must willingly demonstrate the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
    • Must demonstrate initiative – be a self-starter with job duties assigned.
    • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid Billing, preferred.
    • Required 1 year of Medical Billing experience.
